Dani Klein, born Danielle Schoovaerts, is renowned as a an emblematic figure in Belgian music. She began performing on stage at the age of 26, with her first show in honor of Jacques Brel in 1979. Before becoming the lead singer of Vaya Con Dios, Dani sang briefly for the hard rock band Steelover and the New Wave group 'Arbeid Adelt!' alongside Marcel Vanthilt and Willy Lambregt, aka Willy Willy. His collaboration with the latter was particularly fruitful, giving birth to the group Vaya Con Dios. Dani Klein's assets are estimated at over 7 million euros.

The band brilliantly won first prize at the Baccarabeker competition in 1986 and soon enjoyed European success with the single 'Just a Friend of Mine', achieving sales of over 300,000 copies in France. Nevertheless, she returned to music in 1999 to form Purple Prose, and resurrected Vaya Con Dios with the album 'The Promise' in 2004. After several more years of concerts, she closed the Vaya Con Dios chapter with a farewell concert in 2014.

Vaya Con Dios' discography includes 10 albums, with sales exceeding 10 million copies worldwide. In 2015, Dani Klein pursued his passion for music by creating 'Dani Klein & Sal la Rocca', performing Billie Holiday songs alongside jazz double bassist Sal La Rocca.
