The Uhoda family, associated with the city of Liège, holds a remarkable position in the service distribution sector, as well as in culture and contemporary art. The origin of this family goes back to the arrival of their grandparents in Belgium, fleeing Josip Tito's communist regime in Yugoslavia with the intention of moving on to the United States. Following the unexpected death of the grandfather, the family took root in Liège thanks to a job found by the grandmother.

Starting his career with Esso, Stefan Uhoda has set up his own network including service stations, car washes, retail outlets and parking lots. After selling its 75 service stations to the Q8 company, Uhoda's name is also recognized in the art world for its significant collection ofcontemporary works and his love for comics.

The achievements cultural include an immersive exhibition dedicated to the Smurfs to Heyzel, attracting some 240,000 visitors then on to Paris and Korea. The Uhoda's explored the idea of promoting Brussels as a host city for a race of Formula 1 electric. Although the project, which found an ally in Koekelberg for a planned circuit around Elisabethpark, was halted by the Brussels-Capital Region Government and opposition from local residents, it is a testament to their commitment to innovation and community.

The empire's net worth is estimated at 43,059,000 euroswhich underlines the success and impact of their businesses and passions.
