Founded in 1903 by Louis Vandamme, the company Oliefabriek Vandamme is rooted in a long tradition of milling. Originally from Zulte and located in the flax-rich Lys region, the company has adapted its production to the gradual disappearance of flax growing in Flanders. The family structure is headed by holding Kollergang, whose name refers to the equipment used to press corn in mills.

The company is on a growth trend, with a net worth of valued at 164 million euros, ranking TOP 160 among Belgium's richest.
